This past Easter was a very different one than we have ever experienced in our entire lives!

In some ways it felt a bit surreal, but when we participated in both the 9:00am and 11:00am Easter services, we felt a deep connection with so many of you.

Becky and I discussed how we think part of the benefit of a small church is the closeness we feel to so many of you! As you know what marks our church is our priority of prayer, and being able to pray for each of you daily. Actually seeing your faces on the Zoom Good Friday Service and during Zoom Lunch after church, gives us that sense of intimacy with you.

We do hope each of you have watched or listened to the testimonies from our Easter service. Stories connect us with God and each other! And your stories encouraged us so much, cause us to give glory to God for the love He has poured out on us all.

We pray that this season of quarantine will come to an end soon so we can be together — and we can’t wait!! Until that time, please stay connected with us through email, text, Zoom, and phone calls, etc.

Many of you know we started a new ministry called Titus 3:14, our response to the verse, “Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful” (NASB). We have been able to get food and have some tangible needs met. Thank you all for the support and gifts you have given to Viewpoint Church to make this possible. We especially want to thank those of you who took time to make gift bags for some of the homeless in our community. I also want to give a special thanks to Nathan, our worship leader for going above and beyond the call of duty. Some of you know that because of the number of churches using the internet for their services, it was technologically very challenging. Nathan stayed up all night on more than one occasion so we could all enjoy these past few weeks!

We love you all so very much!

Roger and Becky
