Viewpoint - Your Future Is Bright

Selfless or Selfish Love?

Ask someone their definition of love and you would get quite the array of answers. I believe someone’s definition of love can be put in one of two categories: Selfless or Selfish. In 1 John 3:16-18, we see the definition of love. True love can only be selfless. According to this passage, any other idea of love is counterfeit. 1 John 3:16-18 informs us of what love is – selfless action based on truth.
